Line Information Database / Calling Name

Neustar's Line Information Database / Calling Name (LIDB/CNAM) module provides gateways to VeriSign's LIDB and CNAM databases, and supports the following subscriber record requests:

• Calling Card (insert or change a calling card record)
• LIDB (insert, change or delete a line number record)
• CNAM (insert, change or delete a calling name)

The LIDB contains subscriber information such as a service profile, 10-digit line numbers, service provider ID, equipment indicator, and billing specifications.

The CNAM databases enable carriers to provision the calling name associated with a particular line number.
