• Improves performance of the existing server resources by preventing “busy” servers from overloading and increasing traffic to “less busy” servers, thus maximizing overall utilization of the content network

SiteBacker

SiteBacker is our monitoring and automated IP fail-over service that monitors customers' mission critical servers and, in the event of a server failure, redirects traffic to one or more "hot standby" servers. This process ensures that your customers and your business are unaffected. Additionally, SiteBacker leverages a mesh of monitoring agents throughout the UltraDNS global network, enabling you to select which records you want to monitor-you can select one or more pools of servers utilizing industry standard applications and protocols such as ping, TCP/UDP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, and HTTP(S). Then, SiteBacker does the rest-it automatically monitors and notifies you when/if a failover occurs.
